She left Laredo in a hail of blood and dust. The black smoke in the rear view mirror bellowed from her stolen 69 Chevy pickup and seemed to help obscure the heinous events behind her as she pressed harder on the accelerator. She barreled toward an unfamiliar horizon and only one thing was certain, that gutted bastard would never touch her again.
